About Jaclyn
Hi. I am Jaclyn, but you can call me Jaci. (pronounced Jackie)
I am a specialist in group based and partner based piano education, and I am passionate about helping students become confident and joyful musicians. For more than twenty eight years I have taught through methods that blend creativity, collaboration, and careful research, and today my studio is known for its strong community and innovative lesson structure.
My work centers around the belief that students thrive when they learn together. Partner lessons and group learning create accountability, teamwork, motivation, and musical confidence, and I have spent many years refining these approaches so they bring out the best in every student. Because of this, I am often invited to present at state and national conferences for music teachers, where I share strategies that help other teachers build supportive and sustainable studios using these same models.
Families in Warren County choose Piano Kats because the environment is warm, structured, and research informed. Students receive meaningful one on one instruction within a collaborative setting, and they also grow through ensemble work, creative exploration, theory understanding, and performance opportunities. This blended approach has proven to be highly motivating for students of many ages and levels.
I am committed to lifelong learning and I remain active in the broader music teaching community. I present regularly on group based learning, partner lessons, and sustainable studio systems, and I write for several well known publications in the field. My goal is to continue bringing the very best teaching methods to my students and to offer an experience that is both joyful and rigorous.
Above all, I want students to feel supported, confident, and excited each time they sit at the piano. Music becomes part of who they are, and I am honored to guide them on that journey.
